Imagine if you could blend all of your favourite flavours together and create something that's not only DELICIOUS but also amazing for your skin. Well one of my fave nutritionists, Jessica Sepel, has answered my prayers and designed the most scrumptious recipe that ticks all those boxes - the Raspberry and Coconut Glow Bowl.

Of course, as soon as I discovered this godly creation I just had to try it. My review: SO MUCH YUM. The recipe is packed with fiber, protein, Omega-3 fatty acids and various micronutrients and the health benefits seem to be endless: 

  • The fiber supports your digestive health and helps the body to regulate insulin; 
  • The protein in the chia seeds will help to build muscle and aid weight loss;
  • The calcium and vitamin A will help with your dental health;
  • The antioxidants will speed up the skin’s repair systems and help to prevent aging

Immensely healthy, delicious and so simple...I highly recommend giving it a try!

 

Ingredients:

1/2 banana, frozen
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
5-6 ice cubes
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp nut butter
2 heaped tbsp coco yoghurt
Strawberries, granola, nuts and seeds, to top
 

Method:

Add banana, almond milk, raspberries, ice cubes, chia seeds, nut butter and coconut yoghurt to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and top with fresh fruit, granola, nuts and seeds.
